Effect of Fall Prevention Intervention for the Elderly : systematic Review

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective: This study aims to provide evidence that can be applied clinically through systematic review of falls prevention interventions and effects for the elderly.
Method: The research was conducted from 2010 to 2017 using electronic databases KISS and RISS.
The papers searched were analyzed for the final 10 selected journal.
Result: The paper on fall prevention intervention for the elderly had the greater percentage of research of phase II(60.00%), and the greater percentage of intervention place was senior citizen center(60.00%). Intervention had a greater percentage of single intervention, and was effective in improving physical function.
Conclusion: The study provided data on the Intervention type of fall prevention for the elderly and the effect of intervention. Based on these results, various reasons for future fall-prevention intervention and intervention for further study are provided.
